Truly Awesome Steampunk Mouse

Jake von Slatt — Thu, 07/10/2008 - 09:39

Whoa.  A reader sent in this Modding.ru Babelfish link to the most awesome Steampunk mouse I've ever seen.

I suspect that there are many more skilled DIYers in Russia and the former Soviet territories then just about anywhere else on the planet so we should be seeing more and more projects like this! Huzzah!

[Thanks zteinar !]

Craftsmanship

RadioC1ash — Thu, 07/10/2008 - 12:53

This piece a perfect example of what I think of when I hear people talking about "craftsmanship." Somebody loved(/s) that mouse. I only hope that I'll eventually be able to produce something so exquisite.

WOW!

That is a stunning piece... lots of detail... like the cord and the USB Plug. those types of things often get overlooked in modding projects. I am not sure if the engraved sections are custom for the piece or they are just lucky finds..but WOW.. just WOW.
