The Hackerspace I belong to in Seattle, Jigsaw Renaissance, is in need of a culinary laboratory facility, colloquially know as "A Kitchen," so that we can add the preparation of comestibles to our maker repertoire.

Also so we can bake you cookies.

Lovely prizes are offered for your tax deductible donation including above mentioned cookies, a 3D printed version of our nautilus logo, and the chance to be immortalize on toast!

So, I visited the website and I'm still a bit foggy about what Jigsaw Renaissance is. So you can rent space and participate in events? or just build stuff and plot world domination? It sounds cool, is it really that cool?

I am in Boston, but Jigsaw Renaissance in Seattle is run by dear friends and I sponsor a membership there. If you're Boston based I'm excited about Artisan's Asylum, a new hackerspace that will be opening shortly in Somerville.
